As we head into tomorrow’s Giving Tuesday—a day when people across the country support the causes they believe in—we want to share how your partnership strengthens our work and why your continued support matters. Families, small businesses, and community organizations rely on practical solutions that help them build financial security, and your generosity helps make that possible.

Here’s what your support powers:

Advance practical innovation – We develop digital tools and training opportunities that community organizations can use easily and confidently. Our solutions are designed with practitioners in mind so they strengthen personal guidance while scaling what works locally. Through Prosperity Next and our planned acquisition of Change Machine, we are expanding this model with stronger technology and a broader practitioner network.

Support small business success – We partner with organizations that help entrepreneurs grow, hire, and pursue new opportunities. This year through our Growth Business Accelerator (GBA), we worked with 120 Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs) and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), graduated 75 practitioners, reached 148 small businesses, and provided 110 hours of training. In our Good Jobs Learning Collaborative, we supported 60 ESOs, delivered nine training sessions, and connected 24 small businesses to the Good Jobs Community of Practice.

Help families build stronger futures – We support programs that strengthen early financial building blocks, expand savings opportunities, and help families plan ahead. Through national research, field convenings, and practical resources, we help partners grow early savings programs that give children a stronger start. In our 2024 field report, based on data from nearly 40 organizations, we found that more than 7.3 million children were connected to Children’s Savings Accounts, including nearly one million new accounts. These programs help families build the habits and stability that set children on a clearer path to long-term financial security.

Make tax savings easier to reach – We strengthen VITA partners that provide no-cost tax filing support, helping individuals and families keep more of what they earn. This year, we supported 25,177 participants, helping households claim $5 million in Child Tax Credits, $15 million in Earned Income Tax Credits, and more than $43 million in federal refunds—funds that help families cover bills, buy essentials, and build stability.
