Dear Glacier Lover,

This Giving Tuesday, your gift will help make the wonders of Glacier National Park more accessible for everyone.

If you’ve taken a walk on the Trail of the Cedars, you’ve seen first-hand the power of a purpose-designed and smartly-implemented accessible trail. Done well, accessible features fit naturally into the landscape and make it possible for more of us to share in the magic of Glacier National Park.

Mobility impairment is the most common disability in the United States. Nearly 7 percent of Americans experience difficulty walking or climbing stairs, and many more have children or elderly family members who benefit from accessible infrastructure.

Accessible infrastructure benefits everyone!

That’s why our Emeritus Council, a generous group of former board members, has offered a $15,000 matching gift. In so doing, your gift will go twice as far and have twice the impact right here in Glacier National Park.

Your support makes possible essential, high-impact work, like these updates at the Fish Creek Campground:

  • Removing old, damaged asphalt from paths
  • Re-grading trails to meet accessibility standards
  • Updating benches to add companion seating

While the changes may seem subtle, accessibility projects are transformative for visitors with limited mobility.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, but there's no need to wait to make a difference! You can give now to build a more inclusive park and take advantage of a $15,000 matching gift.

With Gratitude,
