Now, it’s official. On December 4th, they’ll hold their first meeting to start the process.
Republicans know they’re on track to lose the House. They’ve seen the polls, they’ve seen the energy, and they know voters are ready to hold them accountable, so they’re rigging the rules and robbing Floridians of representation before they get a say.
This mid-decade power grab is unnecessary, expensive, and anti-democratic. Instead of helping working families afford housing or lowering insurance costs, they’re wasting taxpayer dollars to protect themselves.
