Dear friend,
Last year, in the beautiful Berkshires, we reunited with old-time friends. A handful of our supporters responded to our invitation to meet with global social movements to refine what would be a major benchmark in our 40-year history: the articulation of Solidarity Philanthropy .
Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to produce a powerful publication [[link removed]] .
We heard loud and clear that the framework needs to create a sense of belonging and inspiration as we navigate an authoritarian regime in the United States. Our collective product - the Solidarity Philanthropy framework - needed to fill out that gap and shine the way .

And it is what our framework is doing right now. It is more than an alternative approach, but a concrete pathway to build a global alliance with social movements.
For that, we aspire to further grow our relationships with people like you. We want to continue learning from you, because we will win when authentic relationships are at the center.
Recently, our board member Bridget Brehen told me:
" What draws me to wanting to be a board member and an individual donor is that Grassroots is not on the sidelines . Accompaniment is a living, breathing model that they are practicing. I have a stake in seeing the kind of world Grassroots International is building. "
This year, thanks to the generous support of people like you, Grassroots International has:
* Redistributed more money than ever over the past year to partner movement organizations who are at the forefront of this life-affirming work.
* Double the size of the grants
* Committed to multi-year support
* Fund 145+ projects across 20+ countries in the Global South + US
As we launch the next wave of support to continue our work [[link removed]] —I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for being a champion of Grassroots International.
Whether you have made a donation, learned from our updates, attended a virtual event, interacted with a post on social media or told a friend about us—you are part of our community. I know your time and resources are limited and so I wanted to let you know that I appreciate you so much.
With gratitude,
