Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday! With many folks like you donating towards our goal, I want to share something powerful to remind you of why this work is so crucial. This photograph was taken by one of the youth whom Love146 supports. Here’s what she shared about the image:

“The Round Home helped me heal from the beginning, and their support is important for my continuous healing. What I really like in this photo is that it shows my continued holding on to other children in this safe home. They help me heal, too. It was people in this safe home who healed me by our gradually formed friendship and love for each other, which I did not get from others before. By holding on to them and asking for help in order to lessen the pain of my past and my present, I was healed by others here. What I want the world to know is:
It is not impossible for us to heal from any burden we might be carrying in life.”
At Love146, we talk about healing as a journey, rather than a destination. It happens as a young person knows there’s someone they can turn to, someone who will listen, understand, and keep showing up to help them build a future free from exploitation.
