The Puget Sound Partnership Science Panel will meet online on Wednesday, December 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Meeting highlights include:
- A presentation and discussion about science related research at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) relevant to Puget Sound recovery. Presentation by Michelle McClure, director of the Pacific Marine Environmental Lab, and Steve Thur, assistant administrator for Oceanic and Atmospheric Research at NOAA.
- A presentation and discussion about the status of priority federal policies and appropriations related to Puget Sound recovery. Presentation by Ahren Stroming, special assistant for federal affairs at the Puget Sound Partnership. Read more.

- A presentation to discuss research to understand the practical impacts of adopting human wellbeing Vital Signs in Puget Sound. Presentation by Kelly Biedenweg, professor of human dimensions, Oregon State University’s Fisheries and Wildlife Department. Read more.
- A presentation and discussion about the Science Panel’s accomplishments in 2025 and their work ahead in 2026.
