Billions of taxpayer dollars have been stolen while the Walz administration ran some of the loosest, least-supervised welfare programs in the country. The warnings were there. The red flags were there. Look at just a few examples: - Housing Stabilization Services was expected to cost $2.6 million. It blew past $100 million a year before federal prosecutors said the “vast majority” was fraudulent.
- Feeding Our Future skyrocketed from $3.4 million to nearly $200 million, built on fake invoices and fabricated meal counts.
- Autism-services spending soared from $3 million to nearly $400 million, driven by kickbacks, sham providers, and fraudulent diagnoses.
