Give a Gift to PFLAG National this Giving Tuesday

Support our work with a donation tomorrow for Giving Tuesday—the largest day of global online charitable giving! For over 50 years, PFLAG has been fighting for our LGBTQ+ community, and 2025 has been no exception. In the past year, we have sued President Trump to protect necessary medical care for trans youth under 19; expanded our network with over 40 new chapters, mainly in rural communities; launched our nationwide, grassroots advocacy campaign, Fighting For Our Pride; achieved a major win in Michigan for inclusive education; and so much more.

Your gift will ensure that we keep the momentum going to further our mission of creating a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.

This is our moment to fight—for love, for liberty, for each other. 🏳️‍🌈 Give toward our goal of $25,000 for LGBTQ+ people and their families by donating today at pflag.org/GivingTuesday.

Happy Birthday, Jeanne Manford!

A fierce mother, determined activist, and proud founder of PFLAG, Jeanne Manford was born on December 4th in 1920!

Since marching with her son, Morty Manford, at the 1972 NYC Christopher Street Liberation Day March, Jeanne has inspired millions of parents, families, and allies to lead with love. For over 50 years, PFLAG National has provided support, offered education, and advocated for lasting policy change. We are proud to carry her incredible legacy, and fight for a loving, affirming, and equitable world for all LGBTQ+ people.

Happy birthday, Jeanne! Learn more about PFLAG’s founding and history at pflag.org/our-history.

Today, December 1st is World AIDS Day

Every December 1 we honor World AIDS Day, a day first observed in 1988 to honor those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses, as well as the millions of people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States and across the globe.

Misinformation, fear, and government neglect fueled an epidemic that has taken millions of lives around the world, including Morty Manford, gay rights activist and son of PFLAG founder Jeanne Manford.

Today, as we mourn our friends, family members, and peers whose lives were cut short by HIV/AIDS, we re-commit ourselves to supporting the fight to end this epidemic.

For crucial information and resources on HIV/AIDS testing, treatments, and more, visit hiv.gov.
