As the Trump Administration continues to make life harder for Americans, Governor Healey is continuing to stand up for Massachusetts.

When President Trump stopped food assistance to our most vulnerable neighbors, Governor Healey expedited $8 million to food banks to keep people fed. When a court ordered benefits to be paid, Governor Healey had her team move quickly to get SNAP benefits out the door before President Trump could stop them.

When the Trump administration delayed critical federal funds that help low-income families and seniors heat their homes, she demanded its immediate release, while also taking action to prevent heating emergencies and utility shut-offs.

And as RFK Jr. and the CDC continue to dispense false and misleading information about links between vaccines and autism, Governor Healey continues to choose science over conspiracy, rejecting these claims, providing evidence-based information, and making sure vaccines are available and affordable.

In Massachusetts, we know that access to nutritious food, quality health care, and stable housing aren’t privileges to be earned, but fundamental human rights.

While President Trump increases the burden for everyday Americans, Governor Healey puts people over politics.
