Free Speech For People is honored to have been invited to develop a series of presentations for the Indivisible Action Coalition, and extend this invitation to you. These presentations are designed to address the security gaps in our election systems and empower participants to take actions to increase the security, transparency, and auditability of the systems that count our votes.
We know our elections are under attack. But many are unaware of the attacks that have already been leveraged on our election systems by allies of Donald Trump in 2021 and 2022 in order to gain illicit copies of the software [[link removed]] that runs in voting machines to record and count our votes. Or that these alleged crimes have not been prosecuted, [[link removed]] and the software has not been recovered. [[link removed]]
Tonight: Marilyn Marks of Coalition for Good Governance will recount the stunning and engrossing account of how she came to uncover the largest known election security breach in the U.S. that occurred in Coffee County, Georgia—complete with damning security footage. Susan Greenhalgh of Free Speech For People will detail how the breach of election equipment in Georgia is connected to similar breaches in Colorado, Michigan, and Pennsylvania—and the evidence that connects the scheme to the Trump campaign and Trump himself.
This session will provide a detailed account of the brazen, coordinated, multistate effort by operatives - hired by Trump allied attorneys - to improperly take copies of the voting system software and covertly distribute them to MAGA supporters, and what has and has not been done to address it. [[link removed]] (This is especially timely following the Georgia Special Prosecutor’s move to dismiss the Fulton County RICO complaint [[link removed]] , essentially ensuring all those involved in the Georgia plot have escaped accountability.)
With our democracy under assault, we can’t afford to gloss over these efforts to weaken our elections. We must have a clear-eyed understanding of our election strengths and vulnerabilities in order to best protect our democracy.
That’s why Indivisible Action Coalition (formerly Indivisible Middle Tier) is hosting this series of webinars to educate participants about the threats to election systems, and what we need to do to better protect our ballots. We are pleased to open up these sessions to you, too.
