CANDIDATE FILING FOR REPUBLICAN 2026 PRIMARY

Candidate filing for public office for the 2026 Republican Primary Election March 3 has begun at Republican Headquarters:

Republican Headquarters, 111-B West Third Avenue, Corsicana TX 75110

Filings during the filing period must be done by appointment with the RPNC. Call (903) 872-6287.

Before any preliminary campaign expenses, file your "Appointment of Treasurer" form with the Elections Administrator, 601 North 13th Street, Corsicana. These expenses include your filing fee.

Monday December 8th, 2025 until 6:00 PM CST will be the last day to file for Public Office. Republican Headquarters will be open from 10:00 AM through 6:00 PM for any last minute filings.

Cashiers checks (or cash) are required for filing fees paid within the last five days prior to December 8 to insure sufficient funds,

Those candidates desiring to run for office, whose jurisdiction includes counties outside Navarro County, must file with the Republican Party of Texas in Austin TX.

The Drawing For The Order Of Candidate Names On The Primary Election Ballot will be held on Thursday evening December 18 at 6:30 pm at Republican Headquarters. This is an opportunity for candidates to invite family and friends.
The Republican Party of Navarro County has an entry in the Corsicana “Festival Of Lights” Christmas Parade. Please join us at 4:30 pm Saturday December 6, 2025 at the Navarro Center / Brookshires parking lot at 800 North Main Street to participate in the parade. Check-in is 4:30 pm. Parade staging begins at 5:00 pm. The parade through Corsicana downtown streets will begin at 6:00 pm.
On September 15, the Republican Party Of Navarro County voted to concur with the Republican Party Of Texas Resolution Honoring Charlie Kirk.
IRepublican Party of Navarro County operations account pays for our Republican Headquarters in West Third Avenue. As Republicans, we must pay our own way. It is the other party that has free stuff. We have several contributor levels:
* Roosevelt = $ 100
* Coolidge = $ 250
* Eisenhower = $ 500
* Lincoln = $ 1000
* Reagan = $ 5000

You would receive a lapel pin, recognizing your contribution.

The Republican Headquarters is a valuable resource to the local party, as well as the Navarro County Republican Women’s club. Volunteers have been recruited, because they either called the Headquarters or came in person. Our candidates had a visible and accessible place to file for office.
