This is a moment of crisis for America, and groups like NCLEJ are holding the line to defend marginalized communities against the extreme actions and policies of this administration. To the extent that this administration has been prevented from doing anything, it’s been because legal advocates have blocked the way.

• Protect and expand access to life-saving SNAP benefits in places like Alaska, Missouri, New York, and more;
• Secure justice for 24-hour homecare workers who experienced extreme wage theft;
• Seek justice for children of color in Buffalo suffering from lead paint poisoning;
• Hold States accountable for violating the rights of people with disabilities;
• And end racially-discriminatory policing in Buffalo.
