Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and like the thousands of students UNCF supports—we’ve got big plans. This year, we’ve set the ambitious goal of raising $100,000 by midnight tomorrow night.

Students like Idris Caldwell are counting on you. A recent graduate of Community College of Philadelphia’s Registered Nurse program, Caldwell believes his purpose is to help others and give to his community.

When he returned to school after a 10-year break, a UNCF scholarship allowed Caldwell to cut back work hours and focus on the intensity of nursing school. Now he hopes to serve populations who often go overlooked and underserved, especially those who suffer from substance use disorder.

Every day, your support helps students like Caldwell overcome financial barriers, pursue quality education, uplift their families and better their communities. Through your generosity, UNCF awards more than 11,000 scholarships annually and provides vital support to 37 member HBCUs.
