Here's a very troubling development: Coronavirus is exploding at the southern border—accounting for over one-third of statewide Texas deaths on Tuesday alone.

The state of our border remains dangerous and not secure. Drug cartels maintain their power, our borders remain open, and “return to Mexico” is merely a bandaid.

So I recently sent a letter to DHS requesting an update for how we’re handling the Coronavirus at our southern border.

I told the Homeland Security Secretary that it is imperative that we collect and report on COVID-19 positive migrants coming across the border.

Furthermore, I'd like to know if we have the necessary personnel, tools, and equipment to fully secure the southern border.

Let me put this bluntly: The Left may want to use this pandemic as an excuse for amnesty, but we cannot let them.

We need your help to send a strong message that all patriotic conservatives SUPPORT the rule of law and OPPOSE amnesty for illegal aliens. Now it's also a CRITICAL matter of public health for Americans.
