As you may know, we here in Arizona are really feeling the brunt of the illegal immigration crisis.
Yuma is in a state of emergency after being overwhelmed by caravan after caravan.
Repeat dangerous criminal offenders are coming into the country over and over because of our porous southern border. One such violent sexual criminal was recently apprehended in Eastern Arizona- coming into the country despite having received a lifetime ban for his crimes!
Deadly drugs like Fentanyl are making their way across our border and killing real Americans every day. In fact 1.1 million pills were seized this year alone by our hard working Border Patrol agents.
You and I both know, however, that so much more comes across the border because Border Patrol is underfunded, our Federal immigration laws make no sense, and the liberals in Congress have underfunded President Trump's wall request.
I tell you, thank God for President Trump. He's the only one up there who realizes what a crisis the illegal immigration problem really is.
The Democrats? They may NEVER get it.
Tucson is holding a vote to become a sanctuary city.
And progress on a wall along Arizona's border with Mexico was recently stopped due to liberal activist judges.
We here in Arizona are screaming at the top of our lungs that we need help in dealing with this crisis, as it is affecting OUR communities the most!
If the federal government apart from the President won't fight for a wall, then it falls on us here in Arizona to protect our communities. We must fight!
That's why I'm fighting to stop illegal immigration in the Arizona State Senate. My plan is to build the wall, ban sanctuary cities, and bar illegals from attending Arizona colleges.
