John,

As Governor Bullock’s chief legal counsel, I had the great honor last week to file his brief in support of fully recognizing the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) within the U.S. Constitution.

This year, the ERA was finally ratified by the needed 38 states. The ERA guarantees the equality of all Americans, regardless of sex. It reflects our Montana values and makes them part of the U.S. Constitution. It should now be the law of the land.

But the Trump Administration won’t recognize the ERA’s ratification and make the voice of the people part of our U.S. Constitution.

It’s shameful. Montanans have long fought for equality for women, and voted to ratify the federal amendment and included the same protections in our state constitution in the 1970s!

As your Attorney General, I’ll personally represent Montana in the effort to recognize the ERA. I’ll fight to make sure the Trump Administration recognizes the people’s work to ratify the ERA, and that it becomes part of our United States Constitution forever.

Our opponent is against women’s reproductive rights, against LGBTQ rights,  and anti equality. We can’t risk having an Attorney General that will exclude certain groups of people from the equal rights everyone deserves. Will join us in supporting our campaign and help elect a fighter by rushing a $25 donation today?

Thanks for your support,

-Raph
