Hi John, it’s Mike here with one last note before we close out the month.

First of all, I want to express my gratitude for your support throughout the year. We’ve faced a whole lot of challenges -- the historically-long government shutdown, an affordability crisis of Republicans’ making, and many more disastrous choices from the Trump White House.

I’ll admit that the sheer volume of attacks on our democracy and the middle class have been overwhelming. But it’s important that we don’t tune out now.

We’re weeks away from entering the midterm year. The election in 2026 is our moment to send a message that we WILL hold the Trump administration accountable -- and it’s only possible with Democratic control of the House.

The path to the majority is nearly impossible without holding CA-49. Three seats separate control, and we now have 170,000+ new voters in the district that we need to communicate with after Prop 50.

Tonight marks my end-of-month fundraising deadline, one of the last before the new year. I am proud to refuse corporate PAC donations -- because I’m beholden to the people I swore to represent, not special interests.

But it makes these deadlines real. With so much on the line, we can’t fall short, and every dollar donated directly impacts our voter outreach efforts.
