Election season isn’t over yet, John.
This Tuesday, WFP champions are facing runoff elections across the country that will make a real difference in voters’ lives.
We’re about to give you a rundown of some of our top races to watch, but first: Can you split a donation between 8 amazing WFP champions who need your support before Tuesday’s elections?

A quick run-through of what’s at stake on Tuesday:
- On Election Day, Jersey City voters will be electing a new mayor for the first time in 12 years, and NJWFP is all in for James Solomon, who’s spent the last 7 years fighting for affordable housing, good public schools, and more as a City Councilmember.
-
Two Jersey City Council seats are also having runoff elections on December 2 — and we’re working to build power on the council by electing 20-year labor organizer Joel Brooks to Ward B and tenant organizer and teacher Jake Ephros to Ward D.
-
We’re aiming to build on the four-member WFP-endorsed bloc in the Atlanta City Council by electing Nate Jester in the runoff election.
-
Also in Atlanta, community organizer Royce Mann is running to join the Atlanta Public Schools Board of Education. At just 24 years old, Royce is a recent graduate of the very schools he’s running to defend and improve.
-
Dontaye Carter is running against a 12-year Republican incumbent for Mayor of Sandy Springs, Georgia. He’s fighting to increase government transparency, provide affordable housing, and build a city where no one is left behind.
-
Facing runoffs for the Albuquerque City Council, WFP champions Stephanie Telles and Teresa Garcia would join current WFP-backed City Council members, to amplify workers’ voices.
With just 2 days to go until the December 2 runoff elections, each of these candidates needs your support to help spread their messages to voters and reshape our local governments for the better.
