I'm glad I caught you, friend.

I know the last thing you want to think about is fundraising during the end of a holiday weekend. But midnight tonight marks an important fundraising deadline.

At the moment, we’re still coming up $2,513 short of our online fundraising goal. Will you rush in a donation before midnight to help us meet this monthly benchmark?

I’m focusing every day on the job my neighbors elected me to do. I am going to continue looking out for them and fight for good-paying, sustainable jobs, protect reproductive freedoms, and bring common-sense leadership to the climate crisis.

But we know from experience that IL-17 is one of the most hotly-contested House races in the country, and will be once again in 2026. In fact, it’s been the most competitive seat in all of Illinois for the past several cycles. If Democrats have any chance of winning back the majority, we need to keep every existing seat blue – that means defending our turf here.

You’ve been there when we needed you most. Right now, we’ll need all hands on deck as we weather another tough election. In a district this close, every grassroots contribution will make a difference.

If you’re with me, chip in to give us a boost in this hyper-competitive race: [link removed]

I believe that our brightest days are still ahead of us. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend, keep the hope, and thank you again.

-Eric
