I need to level with you about where we stand tonight. We set a critical $25K goal to keep Michigan moving forward and to counter the attacks that surged the moment the media reported that I had pulled ahead in this race.

Right now we are behind.

Not by much, but enough that the opposition will take it as a sign of weakness if we do not close the gap. They are watching the numbers. They are waiting for us to slip. They are hoping that the momentum we built is temporary.

I know what it feels like to be under pressure. I have flown combat missions in the dark. I have made decisions when everything was on the line. I have faced challenges that demanded strength, grit, and faith.

But those missions taught me one thing. You never reach the objective alone. You reach it because a team refuses to quit.

This campaign is that team.
