Friends – Washington’s mandatory fundraising freeze for all state elected officials begins on Friday, December 12th at 11:59 p.m.
That means after then, my campaign won’t be able to raise a single dollar for months – right as extremists ramp up their attacks on LGBTQ+ rights, affordable health care, and gun safety.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together: bold climate action, landmark gun violence prevention laws, the historic Move Ahead Washington transportation package, and some of the strongest LGBTQ+ protections in the nation — including defending trans youth as extremists work overtime to erase them.
But the reality is this: when the federal government attacks our rights – from shutting down LGBTQ+ crisis hotlines to blocking passport gender markers – states like Washington must step up. Local leadership has never mattered more.
