John,
Since the evening of November 4th, I’ve felt hope reverberate across the country. Emerge alums went toe to toe with Republicans’ destructive efforts — and won.
Nearly 300 Emerge alums were on the ballot in 20 states this year, with a 77% win rate. Our biggest victories came out of Virginia, where Abigail Spanberger became the commonwealth’s first woman governor and Emerge women flipped 8 House of Delegates seats from red to blue, meaning 25 of 100 representatives in the House of Delegates are Emerge alums.
Our strategy works: we recruit the right candidates for the right districts at the right time.
Now, before the November deadline, we need your support to keep this pipeline strong. Can you contribute before midnight to make sure we don’t fall short?

What we built in Virginia started years ago — investing early, training women of the New American Majority, and replacing Republicans with leaders who reflect their communities. When you give to Emerge, you’re funding the long-term work that makes victories like these possible.
We’re planning our 2026 trainings now, and your support will determine how many Democratic women we can recruit and prepare to run — and win.
Please give as generously as you can before the November deadline.
With gratitude,
A’shanti F. Gholar
President & CEO, Emerge
