Trump recently made a statement rejecting Democrats’ demand to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies and released his own plan instead.  

Trump’s “concept of a plan" is to give money directly to Americans for health care -- without the ACA protections that have enabled more than 20 million Americans to afford high-quality insurance.

The likely result would be increased costs for those most in need of care.

Democrats’ fight to make health care accessible and affordable for all will continue. The best way to make sure Republicans don’t put the country through extreme, unnecessary pain -- including their own supporters -- is to win back the House majority less than a year from now.
