I know you're busy, folks, so I’ll get right to the point.  

You know that I’m not one to back down from a fight.

It was that way when I served in the military, and now as a member of Congress.

And in the face of nonstop attacks from Donald Trump, I’ve never had more resolve to fight to defend the country I love.

Trump is weaponizing the FBI to intimidate and harass members of Congress, including me.

But their attacks won’t discourage me. I’m fighting every day in Congress to hold the Trump administration accountable, and I’m not giving up. As a former Army Ranger, it’s just not in my nature.

Some of the most important fights of our lives are happening right now. For our democracy, for our Constitution, and for the rule of law. I won’t sit on the sidelines because now is a time to lead.
