One Million Screenings for Cervical Cancer in Africa
There have been 1 million screenings for cervical cancer in sub-Saharan Africa as part of the Go Further <[link removed]> partnership between the Bush Institute, the President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and Merck, PEPFAR announced at the 23rd International AIDS Conference, AIDS2020 <[link removed]>. Significantly, most of the women involved were screened for the very first time.This key milestone takes us one step closer to achieving our goal of ending AIDS and cervical cancer in Sub-Saharan Africa within a generation.
