Trump is trying to cover up his gross mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic, John.

Earlier today, part of the CDC website went dark after the Trump administration stripped the CDC of control over coronavirus data – hiding essential information from the American people.

Trump decided to move hospital reporting to his administration to be “overseen” by his cronies and hidden from the public. By not making hospital data public, Trump is setting his administration up to be able to delay or hide the true death toll of COVID-19.

While the hospital data has been returned to the CDC website for now, this is just the latest example of Trump’s massive incompetence and lack of transparency when it comes to this crisis and another reason why we must remove him in November. This election is a matter of life and death.

It is despicable that Trump would try to keep information about hospital capacity out of the hands of the public in the middle of a pandemic – but it’s not the first time his administration has tried to mislead people about the magnitude of the crisis we’re in.

Trump is unfit to lead our country during this time, and Women’s March is more fired up than ever to finish what we started in 2017. This is the year that we defeat Trump once and for all and restore leadership to the White House by electing someone who will listen to scientists and public health experts — and tell the truth about what’s happening in our country.

But in order to do that, it will take a massive grassroots effort. We don’t have any super PACs or foundations waiting in the wings to fund this work. Instead, we’re counting on people like you to donate on emails like this one. Every contribution sends a message that you’re in this fight with us and will help us reach more voters.

If you’re ready to get rid of Trump and his entire corrupt administration for good, will you chip in today to help power our movement?

Next Saturday marks 100 days until the election and we’re getting ready to roll out a massive voter outreach plan. But we need the resources to pull it off.

We're in this together,

Rachel Carmona
