In a series of startling on-air boasts, Fuentes claims Roberts’ remarks signal that his white nationalist “groyper” followers are now welcome at Heritage and could move into influential roles across Washington, including inside the current Trump administration and congressional offices. A recent op-ed from People For president Svante Myrick exposes a stunning level of cruelty that was at the heart of the Trump administration’s budget standoff – from deliberately withholding billions in SNAP funds during the recent government shutdown to pushing the GOP's so-called “big, beautiful” budget that will send health care costs for millions of families through the roof. And while families scrambled to afford food and basic care, Speaker Mike Johnson kept Congress frozen for weeks and delayed the swearing-in of Rep. Adelita Grijalva, a maneuver that conveniently stalled the decisive vote needed to force the Trump administration to release the Epstein files. Grijalva has since been sworn in and the discharge petition has passed, but the op-ed’s central warning remains: Republican leaders, in their unwavering loyalty to Trump, are abandoning even the most basic duties of governing – and voters should be paying close attention.
