John,

We just got disturbing news. President Trump just announced that he is exempting coal used in steelmaking from the Clean Air Act for the next two years.

That gives a green light for some of the dirtiest industrial facilities in the country to release mercury, formaldehyde, soot, dioxins and even benzene into the air we breathe.

These are toxins that cause asthma, heart disease and cancer. They fall hardest on working families who live near these industrial sites. Trump is choosing polluters over public health and he is doing it with full knowledge of the consequences.

We are working to elect climate champions who will hold the line, restore strong protections and stop Trump from putting corporate polluters above the health of our communities.

But we cannot do that without you. Will you chip in today to help us defeat anti-environment extremists and elect leaders who will fight for clean air and clean water? [[link removed]]

Team SEEC PAC

Thanks to your help in 2024, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 119th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand.
