As the year winds down and holiday plans start filling up our calendars, it’s easy to get swept up in the celebrations — family gatherings, community traditions, and taking a much-needed break from the daily grind.

But while some things slow down, the work to protect our democracy doesn’t stop. In just the last few weeks, I’ve introduced new legislation aimed at making our government fair, transparent, and just.

✓ The Campaign Transparency Act — to ensure the public knows exactly who is spending money to influence our elections.

✓ The Stop the Super PAC–Candidate Coordination Act — to close the loopholes that allow billionaires and corporate interests to bankroll campaigns from behind the curtain.

✓ The VA Care and Benefits Accountability Act — to restore VA employees’ labor rights.

I am also proud to be a cosponsor of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib’s House Resolution 876, a resolution to recognize Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and demand that the U.S. honor its obligations to prevent, condemn, and punish genocide.

This is the kind of work that puts people first. And I’m determined to keep pushing, keep fighting, and keep standing up for the communities I represent every single day.
