It's time for Democratic majorities in both chambers of Congress. Here are a few reasons why Democrats MUST win in the 2026 elections: With Donald Trump back in the White House, Republicans in Congress have shown no interest in checking his power or standing up for our democracy. Democrats will. The GOP just drove our country into the longest shutdown in history — all because they refused to protect Americans' healthcare. Trump and congressional Republicans promised lower costs. Instead, their tariffs and policies have made everyday life more expensive for working families. Independent agencies that protect consumers, workers, and our democracy are being undermined. We need a Congress that will defend them — not enable their dismantling. Trump’s approval rating hovers at -18% according to The Economist, and recent elections delivered major Democratic wins across the country. Voters are ready for something better. Chris is doing everything he can to uplift strong Democratic candidates next year and protect blue seats. But taking back Congress is going to take all of us.
