The response since I launched my U.S. House campaign earlier this month has been nothing short of terrific, John.

Coastal Virginians are fired up.
My opponent is feeling the heat.
The political media is taking notice.

In fact, the Cook Political Report officially upgraded VA-02 from a “Lean Republican” district to a 50/50 “Toss-Up” just eight days after I got into the race.

I don’t have to tell you how clear a sign that is. Our entry into this race turned VA-02 into one of the most competitive districts in America.

Soon, we'll start preparing to meet the demands of 2026, but we still have a few more missions to complete in 2025. Namely, hitting our campaign’s first monthly fundraising target before midnight.
