Dave and I have called Greeley home since 1981—and together, we’ve dedicated our time here to public service. Like Dave, I worked in public schools for years before running for the State House in 2019, where I proudly served for 6 years. I spent my time in office fighting to strengthen our public schools, build affordable housing, make healthcare more accessible, and protect a healthy environment.
Dave was right by my side for all of it.
He’s never passed up an opportunity, whether as a teacher, a union leader, a state representative, or as state treasurer, to help someone out. He gives the same care to a student looking for help with a math problem as he does to a constituent struggling to make ends meet. This isn’t about ego for Dave—it’s about doing the most good for the most people, and building the best Colorado possible.
