There’s something I hate about politics.

It’s that you can have the best message in the world, but if you don’t
have the money to get it out, it doesn’t matter.

It’s unfair and frustrating, but it’s the reality of campaigning in an
environment where money is a make-or-break factor for victory.

We’ve built a campaign with real ideas to make life better for working
people: Passing Medicare for All, tackling corporate greed, pushing for a
foreign policy rooted in human dignity, and building a government that
fights for working people.

We’re offering what so many folks tell me they’ve been waiting for: Moral
clarity and a plan to actually fix what’s broken — without compromising
our values by taking money from corporate PACs or AIPAC.

But none of it means a damn thing if people never hear it.

John, the
reason why we’re a real contender in this competitive primary is because
people like you have stepped up.

However, if we fall behind on fundraising, we can’t run the ads, hire the
organizers, or counter the attacks our opponents are preparing. And that
affects whether we can win this thing.

So even though I don’t love asking for money, I have to ask: Can you chip
in $5 or whatever you can to make sure our message reaches
every voter who needs to hear it?
