It takes two minutes to win a derby, but it takes a lifetime to win a community.

I’ve lived in Kentucky all my life. I’ve seen firsthand how policies coming out of Washington affect us every day. From tariffs to health care cuts, working families are getting squeezed while the politicians who caused it just keep talking. We ought to do something about it.

Kentucky doesn’t need another career politician doing more of the same. We need a leader who knows what it’s like to come from nothing, build something from the ground up, and never forget where they came from.

John, I’m running for the U.S. Senate. Some might call me a dark horse – a Democrat running in a red state – but I know how to win as an underdog. And the truth is, electing a Democrat from Kentucky means I wouldn't be beholden to the party, and I also wouldn't be a puppet to the president like a freshman Republican Senator would be.
