I hope you and your family had a joyful holiday. As I spent time with mine, we reflected on how we are living in a whole new world right now. Every day brings a new challenge as national politics have been flipped upside down.
Maryland is home to federal workers, world-class health institutions, and a deep commitment to democracy. The egregious decisions from Washington hit especially close to home. There’s no doubt, we are in Trump’s direct line of sight.
I have spent my entire career in public service, I know this much: the price of doing nothing isn’t nothing, it’s everything.
That’s why I’m in this fight: to stand up to the chaos.
Wes and I are taking action every day to protect Marylanders and the progress that we have already made in our great state.
