Initiated in January 2025, 100 farm families in this program are receiving assistance to improve agricultural yields, increase livestock numbers, and access microfinance. Technicians with our partner DCCH established three Mutual Solidarity Funds (MUSOs) in Gouin, Saint Helene and Costa. These MUSOs already have 79 members and gave out 26 microloans so far. Rural families, particularly women, do not have access to the formal financial system. MUSOs allow these families to create and grow their small businesses. |
