NPH is excited to announce that SB 899 has passed out of the Senate! This is a critical step for SB 899, an NPH co-sponsored bill that would allow faith-based organizations and nonprofit colleges to build affordable housing through streamlined zoning. 

But the journey is not over yet. We need your help demonstrating to lawmakers that SB 899 is an important part of realizing a more equitable future for California.

We need all NPH members to send in organizational support letters no later than Friday, July 17, at 5pm. As the bill heads to the Assembly, now is the moment for us to come together to show our lawmakers how important housing is to our region.
