Do you know a candidate or current elected official who you think deserves the support of the WFP Justice Fund?
Working Families Party

John, we're fired up by the incredible outpouring of support you've shown so far for the WFP Justice Fund that we just launched with the Electoral Justice Project of the Movement for Black Lives.

Now that we're building the grassroots support needed to power this movement, it's time to move forward with the next step: Identifying the boldest local elected leaders who are under attack in their fight for justice and the most transformative new candidates for local office.

That's where you come in: Do you know a candidate or current elected official who you think deserves the support of the WFP Justice Fund? Click here to nominate someone (or multiple people) who we should consider supporting.

As a reminder, we're looking for candidates who:

  • Have a bold stance on policing. All candidates supported by the WFP Justice Fund will commit to meaningfully shift funding in their community from policing into community needs, like jobs, housing, mental health, and real community safety.

  • Refuse police money. To be eligible for support from the WFP Justice Fund, candidates must refuse or return campaign money from law enforcement sources.

  • Are justice-minded. Candidates backed by the WFP Justice Fund will be committed to using their office to advance racial and economic justice.

And we will support them by:

  • Making direct contributions to counter-balance right-wing and racist money.

  • Funding organizing and other expenditures to build grassroots power and deepen support for candidates we believe in.

  • Engaging supporters across the nation to stand with our champions.

Please nominate a candidate or current elected official who you think deserves the support of the WFP Justice Fund today. Together, we are going to take the fight from the streets to City Hall.

In solidarity,

All of us at the Working Families Party
