Coronavirus cases are surging worse than ever before in countless states across the country, including right here in Mississippi, and what does this administration do?
They attack coronavirus task force member Dr. Anthony Fauci for telling the truth about the seriousness of this pandemic and warning that we must do more to stop it.
Not only are they trying to silence and discredit this well-respected infectious disease expert, but this week we learned that the administration has told our nation’s hospitals to stop sending COVID-19 data to the Centers for Disease Control and to instead send it directly to the administration themselves, potentially stopping this data from becoming public knowledge.
It’s clear what’s happening here: This administration is scrambling to do whatever it takes to spin the facts and make it seem like this pandemic isn’t as bad as it really is. With workers, students, teachers, and families across the country looking for leadership and worrying about their health and safety as new cases and deaths rise, this is a dangerous and inappropriate way for our executive branch to act.
We need to listen to medical experts like Dr. Fauci and the folks at the CDC, and put the health of Americans before partisan goals, period.
If you agree, add your name to join me in standing with science and Dr. Fauci today. [[link removed]]
