I get asked all the time if these “fundraising deadlines” are real. And the answer is: Yes.

My campaign and our team have to carefully budget our resources. We’re constantly having to make spending and hiring decisions. Traveling the state, hosting massive town halls, putting up yard signs, coordinating volunteers to knock doors, opening offices… It all costs very real money.

We can defeat Susan Collins. She is the most vulnerable Republican senator in the entire country. But we’re not taking money from corporate PACs or AIPAC. We don’t have billionaire-funded Super PACs spending millions for us. Instead, our campaign is being funded entirely by people like you.

We’re facing our end-of-November fundraising deadline at midnight tomorrow, but we’re still about $38,000 short of our goal and what we need to raise if we’re going to be able to defeat Susan Collins and take back the Senate for Democrats.
