There’s no denying it’s been a tough year: from relentless federal climate attacks to the Oregon legislature failing to meet the moment during this year’s session. The 2026 Legislative Session is going to be jam-packed and here’s just some of what your donation today will go toward helping us achieve: -
Continuing to defend our state from federal rollbacks on climate, as well as from gas and oil industry influence;
- Securing sustainable funding for conservation and wildlife with the 1% for Wildlife bill;

And passing legislation that holds polluters accountable and makes them pay for the ever-worsening climate disasters.
- In addition, we will hold the line against any oil and gas industry-led proposal on cap and invest and educate on what a truly good cap-and-invest proposal would need to include.

2026 is also a critical election year, giving us a big opportunity to elect more pro-environment candidates. With all the attacks on our climate from the federal level, our work at the state level here in Oregon is more important than ever, and we need our elected leaders to rise to the occasion. From the beginning of our endorsement process in January to the final get-out-the-vote push in November, we’ll be doing all we can to elect people to office who will fight for what’s right.
We’re building the resources now to ensure we have what it takes to conduct our endorsement process, help constituents contact their elected officials, lobby for our bills in the legislature, knock on doors for candidates, and so much more.
