Patty here, friend – as we’re less than one year out from the midterm elections, are you following North Carolina's Senate race?

Because with just 47 senators in the Democratic caucus, we're very limited in what we can do to hold Trump accountable for all his chaos and cruelty.

But now, our path to the Senate majority runs straight through North Carolina – so I'm thrilled that former governor Roy Cooper has a solid chance of winning.

Still, we need to be clear-eyed about this battleground race: The GOP will do anything, say anything, and spend every last cent to keep this seat red.  So from here on out, Roy will need all the help he can get to pull out a victory.

I'm doing my part by passing on his message in the hopes that you'll split a donation between me and Roy's campaign to flip North Carolina's Senate seat blue – but otherwise, I'll let him take it from here.
