John,
When Trump says the economy is "great," I honestly wonder if he’s talking about the same country the rest of us live in.
Groceries. Heating oil. Electricity. Prescription drugs. Every family I meet across Maine is getting squeezed, and they all say the same thing: everything costs more.
And let’s be honest: Trump’s tariffs are making it worse. They’ve driven up prices on everyday goods, and families here in Maine feel it immediately.
But here’s the part that gives me hope: earlier this month, voters across the country didn’t fall for the gaslighting. They voted for candidates who put working people first, by HUGE margins. They chose affordability, decency, and basic common sense. And when Democrats run on those values, we win.
We need to carry that same momentum into 2026 -- to take back Congress and hold this administration accountable -- but first, we need to close out November strong.
We need to raise $10,000 from grassroots supporters before midnight tomorrow. Can you chip in right now to help us get there?
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
This next election will be about whether working families can put food on the table, whether parents can afford medicine, whether seniors can keep their heat on in winter.
That is why we need to organize, to fight like hell, to demand better from our elected officials, to put regular people first, not the billionaires who keep rigging the system against us.
If you can, please chip in now before our November fundraising deadline. Click here to make a secure contribution.
Thank you for everything you do.
