We have some exciting news: Iowa has not one, but TWO special elections next month.

1. Democrat Rachel Burns is running in House District 7 in December 9th’s special election! Rachel wants affordable healthcare for ALL and to end the corrupt private school voucher system so we can fund our public schools.

2. West Des Moines City Councilwoman Renee Hardman is running for Iowa Senate District 16 in December 30th’s special election! Renee wants to uplift marginalized communities and make sure everyone’s voice is heard.

We’ve got two amazing Democratic candidates running in two special elections, and this is another chance for us to show we’ve got the momentum on our side one last time before heading into 2026.
