But when Republicans go low, Democrats Win Seats fights back — standing up for fair maps, representation, and our democracy.
First, Trump tried to steal seats and democracy in Texas, pushing Republicans to gerrymander the state.
Then, Greg Abbott joined in to hold up democracy himself.
Abbott waited 8 MONTHS before calling a special election for TX-18 after former Rep. Sylvester Turner died.
Now, he’s delaying the runoff election — pushing it to January 31, 2026.
