Friend,
This Thanksgiving, we are eternally thankful for your commitment to the Southern Poverty Law Center’s movement for justice. You’re helping create lasting, meaningful change.
Because of your support, our talented team of legal experts can take on some of the more powerful opponents — and win. You helped us secure a major victory against the Trump administration after the Department of Labor unlawfully suspended the Job Corps program — the largest vocational training and education program in the country that serves low-income youth ages 16-24.
From taking extremists to court to challenging anti-voter laws, our work has changed institutional practices, stopped government and corporate abuses, and set precedents that have helped thousands of people — thanks to your support.
With your help, we’re:
✅ Suing to halt the Trump administration’s illegal shutdown of the Job Corps program and defend the futures of tens of thousands of young people.
✅ Representing a survivor of a hate crime in a lawsuit alleging he was assaulted by antisemitic group Goyim Defense League during one of their tours in Nashville, Tennessee.
✅ Defending Louisiana voters after the state passed a proof of citizenship law that violates the National Voter Registration Act.
We couldn’t be more thankful for your support this Thanksgiving, Friend. Without it, we cannot do the much-needed work to champion civil and human rights for all.
We are also deeply grateful to our legal team, who bridge the gap between advocacy and real-world impact — leading strategic litigation efforts to ensure justice is served for those who have been systemically oppressed for far too long.
That’s why we’re taking this moment to send encouraging notes of support to our hardworking attorneys, and right now, you can, too. Show your deepest gratitude this giving season by sending an encouraging note to the SPLC legal team, who work tirelessly to serve our communities. ([link removed])
