Happy Small Business Saturday, JOHN! Black Friday drives revenue for large corporations who can afford to offer big discounts, so today is all about shopping local at small businesses. Small businesses are crucial to our economy and our communities. They create jobs, encourage innovation, and strengthen our local economies. Because money spent at small businesses usually stays within the community!  Jennifer at one of her favorite local coffee shops in Satellite Beach, Villon Coffee Co.Ashley Moody says that she supports small businesses, but actions speak louder than words. She has voted in lockstep with Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans to advance every single one of their devastating economic proposals and budgets. As the national deficit grows, small businesses worry about increased inflation, devastating federal budget cuts, and higher interest rates and borrowing costs. Ashley Moody may say that she supports small businesses, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
