Friend,
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted us all, but not equally. Instead, it has highlighted and exasperated the existing inequities across our society. People of every stripe have lost loved ones to the virus but communities of color have made up the bulk of hospitalizations and deaths. While many have been able to shelter in place, people of color make up a disproportionate percentage of frontline workers. And years of systemic racism has led to racial health disparities and environmental injustice. *We need to rebuild a just and equitable recovery for all.*
To better understand the vast impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and economic recession, we asked how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected you and your family. *Thank you to everyone who shared their story.* *See some of those stories here, and add your own.* ( [link removed] )
