I just came home from Iraq. Now I’m stepping into another fight.

I want to introduce myself — not because I’m asking for a favor,
but because you deserve to hear my story directly.
I’m CAPTAIN MIKE BOUCHARD, a Bronze Star Army veteran, paratrooper,
and proud Michigan conservative.
I’ve served with the 101ST AND 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISIONS, led soldiers
in IRAQ AND AT OUR SOUTHERN BORDER, and spent the last nine months
helping defeat ISIS and protect thousands of American and coalition
forces.
Now I’m running for Congress in MICHIGAN’S 10TH DISTRICT — the
seat John James held, and a seat Republicans must keep. And before we
go any further, I want to humbly ask for your help.
THIS IS MY FIRST-EVER CAMPAIGN DEADLINE. ANYTHING YOU CAN GIVE MAKES A
REAL DIFFERENCE. I’LL EXPLAIN WHY BELOW.

I launched this race at the beginning of November — and the critics
immediately said it was “too late.” But I joined this race late
for one reason:
I WAS STILL SERVING MY COUNTRY.
Not on a debate stage. Not in a TV studio. BUT IN A COMBAT ZONE. [1]
When I came home, I saw a different kind of threat — a threat coming
from Washington: weakness, division, and a political class that has
forgotten who they serve.
That’s why I’m running.
Not for a title. Not for a career. But because I’ve seen what
happens when America loses strength — and I refuse to let that
happen here at home.
But stepping in late also means this:
THE CRITICS ARE ALREADY CIRCLING. CONSULTANTS ARE WHISPERING I
“WAITED TOO LONG.” INSIDERS THINK THIS DISTRICT BELONGS TO THEM.
The truth? I don’t care what they think.
What I _do_ care about is proving that this mission has real support
behind it. And that’s why tonight — THIS deadline — matters so
much.
THIS IS MY FIRST END-OF-MONTH DEADLINE SINCE COMING HOME AND ENTERING
THIS RACE. WHAT WE RAISE BY MIDNIGHT WILL DECIDE WHETHER WE ARE TAKEN
SERIOUSLY OR WRITTEN OFF BEFORE THE FIGHT TRULY BEGINS.
MI-10 is a key battleground for America’s future — and we have to
show strength now.

I’ve fought tougher battles than politics. But this one, I can’t
win alone. It takes a team.
