What if I told you the war on lab animals isn’t just happening in laboratories anymore?

And Taxpayer, what if I told you the new battlefield isn’t on land… but at sea?

56 dolphins. 21 sea lions. $40 million in taxes.

Breaking Exposé: The U.S. Navy is in the ANIMAL TESTING business!

Brace yourself, Taxpayer.

We just uncovered a trail of abuse so severe…so HEART-BREAKING…that even I couldn’t have imagined our government was capable of such depravity.

I was wrong.

Captured from their wild habitat. Endoscopes rammed into their blowhole. Deliberately trapped in nets… just to study how they react.

It's called the Marine Mammal Program. And its victims are some of the most intelligent, sentient animals on the planet.

Here’s what we found across 2,200 published papers:

  • Removed from Water. Then Experimented On: Being restrained on land is highly stressful for bottlenose dolphins.
  • OBEY! Or No Dinner Tonight: Victims train for tasks in exchange for meals. If they disobey, they’re denied food and scared with loud noises.
  • Testing In Extreme Cold: They’re thrown into frigid temperatures, just to see at what point their metabolic rate rises.
  • Sleep Deprivation Experiments: Dolphins are forced to swim around their cramped enclosures with no real sleep. For over two weeks!
  • Forced to Drink Saltwater: It’s pumped directly into their bodies. Dolphins don’t normally consume seawater, it makes them very ill.

Taxpayer, guess where the Navy gets its lab specimens from?

SeaWorld.

And Taxpayer, the Pentagon also went on a $48,000 shopping spree at SeaWorld for “male sea lions.” [Payout #N6600110P5361]

We’ve obtained hard evidence that the Navy acquired animals from the infamous amusement park disgraced by the Blackfish scandal, and sent others there to breed even more marine mammals into a life of taxpayer-funded experimentation.

Follow this secure link to sign our new petition to the U.S. Navy: end the Marine Mammal Program!

Taxpayer, now here’s the real scandal:

The Navy didn't want to do this anymore, but Congress FORCED them to!

The Navy had announced a plan to phase out the use of marine mammals to locate sea mines in favor of modern, high-tech underwater drones.

But the heavy hand of Congress passed a defense bill prohibiting the Navy from retiring its Marine Mammal Program.

BUT this is our chance! The latest defense bill dropped the prohibition. Now is the time to act and get the Navy back on track to end its sea animal experimentation.

Taxpayer, I love our troops. But dolphins and sea lions don’t serve.

White Coat Waste is on a mission to get the Navy out of the animal testing business.

The MOST EFFECTIVE way to stop any government animal experiment — including the $40 million Marine Mammal Program — is to do it QUICKLY. Otherwise, it will become a federal precedent and remain on the books for years to come.

EXTREMELY URGENT: Congress just set the Navy’s new budget. But Trump hasn’t signed it yet!

We have a very tight timeline to take action.

Taxpayer, last time we took on the U.S. Navy, we ended its electro-shock and marble-in-rectum experiments on cats.

And we won the first agency-wide policy to BAN ALL testing on dogs and cats in American history!

We can do it again… but those wins only happened because YOU stepped up.

However, we do NOT have a critical mass of signatures. To pull off this brand-new effort, the Secretary of the Navy must see a strong showing of support.

48 Hour Deadline for Taxpayer: Please add your name at this secure link to help get the U.S. Navy out of the animal testing business.

Taxpayer, 21 sea lions and 56 dolphins are counting on you.

Stop the Money. Stop the Madness!

Taxpayers shouldn't be forced to pay $20 billion+ for wasteful government animal experiments.
